By Florence holds the copyright for all artwork. Designs cannot be copied or reproduced for any purpose by yourself or any third party without written permission from By Florence.
If multiple-applications of the illustration are required, for example for use on both invitations and ‘On The Day’ stationery this can be discussed and a fee agreed upon in advance.
If the client requests the digital design file it is at the discretion of By Florence to decide if this will be provided and a fee will be applied. In such a case By Florence still retains the copyright to the design.
By Florence reserves the right to reproduce elements of your bespoke design for other clients.
By Florence reserves the right to turn your bespoke design into a House Collection.
By Florence will not copy another artists work so please do not be request this. By Florence will not use any artwork supplied by another artist.
It is the client's responsibility to obtain permission to use any copyright material such as hymns or poems.
Payment is required in advance for the work to begin.
For orders under £300 full payment will be taken in advance. For orders totalling over £300, a 50% non-refundable payment will be required in advance, with the remaining 50% to be paid when the proof is signed off for print.
You will receive two rounds of free proofing, if further proofs are required a £30 proof fee will be applied for each additional proof where it is text changes only. For artwork changes or layout re-designs, you will be charged at an hourly rate of £40, which will be quoted prior to completion.
The client is responsible for checking proofs carefully for design, layout, spelling and grammar errors. Any errors that occur that have been caused by either the client or By Florence, it is always the responsibility of the client to highlight these.
Once a proof has been signed off to print by the client the proof is final. The final proof will always be used for printing. If an error is discovered after the final proof is approved and a re-print is required, whether the error occurred within the clients text or was caused in the design stage, the client is always responsible for all costs incurred.
We advise asking a friend or family member to also check your proofs for you.
Once an order is placed and your deposit has been paid you will be allocated a design date. We aim to send you a first proof within 1 week of your design date (this may vary for larger orders such as illustrated table plans). Once a proof has been signed off for print we aim to deliver your order within two weeks (excluding bank holidays). By Florence reserves the right to increase the timescale if it is deemed it will benefit the final product. It is the clients responsibility to ensure proofs are signed off and final payments are made with enough time for your deadline.
All deliveries are sent with couriers and insured up to their full value. By Florence will not be held responsible for any problems with delivery where the issue has been caused by the client, for example an incorrect delivery address, or where the delivery has been signed for by a neighbour or left in a ‘safe place’.
Finished prints will be matched as closely as possible to the digital proof and any sample designs, however there may always be a small variance for example in print colour. Digital monitors and screens vary in quality and colour settings which may be responsible for any discrepancy found. We ask you to check your proof on multiple devices before sign off.
If you receive your print and are not satisfied please ensure you alert us to this within 2 day (including Saturdays & Sundays) so we can look into the issue.
If an item is received damaged or faulty we will require photographic evidence and if the decision is made to replace the item the original one must be returned. Postage cost will be refunded should the damage be deemed to require replacement.
If reprints or extra prints are required at a later date, By Florence cannot be held responsible for print variance as they will likely be printed on a different printer and therefore there is room for discrepancy. The unit price for reprinting will likely be significantly higher due to the low volume order. We advise ordering 5-10 extra invites than needed.
Samples are available to demonstrate paper quality and print finish. Should you have any concerns over the quality of the finished product please request a sample pack in advance before placing an order. If you have received your printed order and are not happy with the quality a refund will not be possible as a sample order should have been placed in advance.
Your 50% payment is a non-refundable payment which covers your design work. Should you wish to cancel your order it is at the discretion of By Florence to decide if this will be refunded. Any order that has been sent to print is non-refundable.
www.byflorence.co.uk is provided by Florence Pickard Price, trading as By Florence. In doing so, we may be in a position to receive and process personal information relating to you. We only collect personal information that you choose to provide when an order is placed. You can visit our site anonymously by declining to engage in any data collecting interactions.
We will only process personal information when required and in line with the General Data Protection act.
Your data is used for the creation of your wedding stationery and order processing only and nothing else. Your data will be stored for a period of up to 12 months after your final order in case we need to contact you, after this your contact information and design files will be deleted.
If you have opted for an address printing service this data is required to be shared with our printing company, printed.com.
By Florence reserves the right to display your wedding stationery at Wedding Fairs, client meetings and on social media. Please let us know in advance if you have any objections.
